Los Pedroches is one of only four Protected Designations of Origin for Iberian Cured Meat in Spain. Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) products are those whose quality or characteristics are due to the geographical environment with its natural and human factors, and whose production, processing and preparation are always carried out in the defined geographical area from which they take their name.

The “100% Native Breed” seal tells us more than just the origin of the products. It tells us about the history of our cattle breeders who, generation after generation, work to conserve pure Spanish native breeds, while supporting the rural environment and the conservation of our biodiversity.
